LAVEAU — The underground tunnels roared again last night as Shanksgiving delivered three ferocious knife-fighting matches, each more chaotic than the last. Veteran fighters, newcomers, and local legends clashed before a screaming crowd hungry for blood, glory, and bragging rights.

MATCH ONE: Syd vs. Karigan

The night opened with a storm in human form: Syd swinging her stuffed, knife-loaded voodoo doll like a deranged battle standard against the armored, blade-fingered powerhouse Karigan. Karigan’s metal-tipped claws shredded Syd’s doll and drew the first blood, but Syd’s feral momentum only built. With a final vicious slice and a takedown that rattled the pit floor, Syd overwhelmed the other fighter and secured the first victory of the night.

Winner: Syd

MATCH TWO: Tori vs. King

Next, the crowd erupted as Shanksgiving’s own booming host King stepped into the pit to challenge the razor-sharp precision of Tori in a rematch that would be one of the many highlights of the evening. Tori fought like a scalpel with legs – clean, fast, lethal. A brutal exchange ended with a karambit lodged in King’s shoulder as Tori cut through his defenses and yet Tori would find herself with the bite of his blade sliding across her side. Each trade only resulted in more blood painting the arena floor until a final move disarmed King and blood loss left him sprawled on the floor, unconscious.

Winner: Tori

MATCH THREE: Eira vs. Ingrid

The final bout of the evening brought two ice-cold forces into collision: Eira, fierce and relentless, and Ingrid, the towering bruiser with a reputation for ending fights early. Bound with a leather strap and drugged blades neither women were leaving the ring until their scores were settled. Ingrid opened strong while kicking Eira in the knee and gaining first blood with a little extra something left behind. Between body blows, strap-winding, and the sharp sting of blades kissing skin both women were in it to win. In a final strategic move from Eira, the strap became a choke-hold that didn’t relent until Ingrid submitted to the shadows.

Winner: Eira

A NIGHT OF LEGENDS

When the dust and blood settled, three warriors stood victorious: Syd, Tori, and Eira – each carving their mark into Shanksgiving history. Spectators staggered out of the tunnels buzzing with adrenaline, already speculating about rematches, grudges, and the next night the bayou will bleed.
